Basic set contains easy-to-understand, archetypal cards. Basic Characters have more abilities than those from the introductory set Orbitala but lack some advanced mechanics from others sets.
Basic contains 160 cards - 120 characters and 40 tricks. Each faction has 24 characters - 8 common, 8 uncommons, and 8 rares. There are 15 common, 15 uncommon, and 10 rare tricks in Basic. There are no guru cards in Basic.
Basic cards can be opened in Basic booster, Basic fat pack, Singleton, and Unaar.
Basic cards can be purchased for cheap on Bazaar and are therefore an easily accessible backbone for any deck.
